Predestination Controversy

Question: Did Paul consider himself to be one of the elect according to Ephesians 1:3-14?

IMO; all the Lord’s people are “the elect”!

Paul was/is a very special example as his experience on the Damascus road as a “Chosen vessel”, is figurative of all the Lord’s people, when they turn to Him!

He was given special “impetus” by Christ Jesus, because of the damage he was doing, which again is example to us all!

The important point here IMO, is that the “free-will” was left intact in Paul, as in all of us, and is an essential part of the defeat of Satan’s work in the world!

Predestination does not remove free-will; it is just that God knows the end from the beginning!
